we reject the split ring completely and go in a new direction. The Wilson Keyring, Coachwhip Carabiner, and Closed Helix are all testamentes to this. The Rope Split Ring is our first attempt to retain the best features of the ubiquitous split ring design (ease of manufacturability, security of keys, and durability), while addressing the main deficiencies. Identifying what we didn't like about the traditional split ring slowly brought shape to something new and unexpected. We're really proud of the result.
